About Michael
After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Michael N. Perry earned his J.D. at the Temple University Beasely School of Law in Philadelphia and has been practicing for over 15 years. He has a license to practice law in Texas, New Mexico and Pennsylvania and has established a career representing clients with all types of physical and mental impairments. His current practice specializes in Social Security Disability Law and he has appeared at social security hearings in Las Cruces, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas and all over Western Pennsylvania. He has successfully won cases for hundreds of Social Security Disability clients before the Social Security Administration. In one case, he received acclaim from the National Social Security Organization (NOSSCR) after winning on behalf of a client who had been been denied his benefits based on a previous filing in 1982. Mr. Perry re-opened the case to argue that the claimant did not understand his appeal rights and therefore the old decision should not be held against the claimant (res judicata was not applied). His successful legal work on this case was recounted and published in the May 2006 issue of the "Social Security Forum".
Mr. Perry is proud of the five years he served in the United States Army where he was a Captain and worked for the Air Defense Artillery branch as a new weapons acquisition specialist. He enjoys helping people and is committed to ensuring that his clients receive the benefits they so desperately need and deserve. His offices are located in Ellwood City, PA and Ambridge, PA.
